On ships over 1,000 tons other than configuration 7, they requiretonnage equal to 130% of their mass at a cost of Cr2,000 per ton.Big craft (100 and over, including very large ships 10,000 tons or higher) require tonnage equal to110% of their tonnage at a cost of Cr2,000 per ton. Big craft require tonnage equal to 100% of theirtonnage when carried on ships with hull configuration 7 (irregular structure) at a cost of Cr2,000 per ton.Vehicle Launch Facilities: Launch facilities must be provided for all ships and craft carried. Suchfacilities are automatic with irregular structures (configuration 7), allowing all craft to be launched andrecovered in a single combat round.Ordinary launch facilities (available at no cost or additional tonnage) allow one craft to be launched orrecovered per combat round per 10,000 tons of hull. Additional launch ports may be purchased, allowingan additional single craft to be launched or recovered per combat round. A ship may be built with multiplelaunch tubes to facilitate such operations.Drop Capsules: Drop capsules are available as single-man small craft, capable of orbital insertionand landing on planets from orbit. They may also be used as emergency lifeboats. Drop capsule launchfacilities may be installed on any vessel. Each launcher may launch 40 drop capsules in a combat round. The drop capsule launch facility requires one hardpoint, 1 ton of space, costs Cr10,000, and stores 1capsule. Additional launch-ready storage costs Cr1,000 per capsule stored and requires 0.5 tons of spaceper capsule stored. Additional capsules may be stored as cargo at 0.5 tons each.

Thank you for checking both HG 1e and HG 2e.
Sorry about not replying sooner, I've been busy on a project that includes docking clamps but on a different section.
I'm beginning to think that my sticky note was from the HG3 project that Donald McKinney conducted on ct starships back around 2008 I think. At the end Donald McKinney indicated that the project was actually for T5. Unfortunately, I did not keep copies of the document in my files on the computer and only have a couple of pages as paper copies.

Also a quick check of High Guard 1e (1979) doesn’t turn up anything on Docking Clamps.

Hi Tom,
The best I could find in High Guard is this:
Vehicle Launch Facilities Page 32.
Dispersed Structures: Ships which have a type 7 configuration hull carry craft and ships attached to their exterior. They need no additional fittings. All craft carried by a configuration 7 ship may be launched in one turn.
Which would suggest that docking clams are included in the 110% reequipment for ships/boats over 99 tons.
Best regards,
Ewan

Hello again Ethan,
I did look through my copy of TCS without finding any reference to docking clamps, but there is a possibility that I missed the information.
Thank you for the suggestion.

Got it. It's not in Trillion Credit Squadron I assume?

Hello Ethan,
Anything is possible, but my notes with a source and page number usually denote the information is there. For example I wrote in my CT LBB 5 HG 2e book that fixed mounts are found in the Solomani Alien Module 6 on page 42.

Does the note just mean that the information _should_ be on that page?

Hello all,
I have a dead tree sticky note in my paper CT LBB 5 HG 2e concerning docking clamps. The note indicates that a docking clamp has an airlock and a page number. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the HG 2e page 32 referenced in the note.
My search of the paper and PDF copies of CT material I have not found any mention of docking clamps.
As indicated in the subject line I have found something similar in TNE, T20, and MgT.
Can someone please let me know if CT really mentions docking clamps and where I can find the information.
