Standard Scout/Courier (Type S) without drop tanks: TL 9 Jump-2 Type-A drive with 20 tons of internal fuel tankage, TL7 Maneuver-2 Type-B, and TL 7 Power Plant-2 Type-A with 20 tons of internal fuel tankage, Bridge, TL 6 model/1bis computer, 4 staterooms, 1 hardpoint with fire control, 1 double turret without weapons, 1 air/raft, and a cargo capacity of 3. Swapping out the Model/1 bis for a TL 7 Model/2 or TL 8 Model/2bis decreases the cargo capacity to 2 tons, a TL 9 Model/3 drops the cargo capacity to 1 ton, and installation of a TL 10 Model/4 results in the scout having no cargo capacity. Removing a combination of up to three staterooms, the air/raft, and/or the fire control system will regain cargo capacity.
Standard Scout/Courier (Type S) with 10 tons of jump fuel in drop tanks: TL 9 Jump-2 Type-A drive with 10 tons of internal fuel tankage plus 10 tons of fuel in drop tanks. Using the internal 10 tons of jump fuel tankage the scout/courier is capable of J1. Using the internal jump fuel tankage and retaining the 10 tons of fuel in the drop tank(s) the scout/courier is capable of J1 and by jettisoning the drop tanks before jump the hull can make J2. TL7 Maneuver-2 Type-B, and TL 7 Power Plant-2 Type-A with 20 tons of fuel, Bridge, TL 6 Model/1bis computer, 4 staterooms, 1 hardpoint with fire control, 1 double turret without weapons, 1 air/raft, and a cargo capacity of 13. Upgrading the Model/1 bis for a TL 7 Model/2 or TL 8 Model/2bis decreases the cargo capacity to 12 tons, a TL 9 Model/3 drops the cargo capacity to 11 tons, and installation of a TL 10 Model/4 leaves a cargo capacity of 10 tons. Removing a combination of up to three staterooms, the air/raft, and/or the fire control system will regain cargo capacity.
Standard Scout/Courier (Type S) with 20 tons of jump fuel in drop tanks: TL 9 Jump-2 Type-A drive with 20 tons of fuel in drop tanks is capable of J1 and by jettisoning the drop tanks before jump the hull can make one J2.This scout/courier variant is not capable of any further interstellar flight until the drop tanks are replaced. TL7 Maneuver-2 Type-B, and TL 7 Power Plant-2 Type-A with 20 tons of fuel, Bridge, TL 6 Model/1bis computer, 4 staterooms, 1 hardpoint with fire control, 1 double turret without weapons, 1 air/raft, and a cargo capacity of 23 tons. Upgrading the Model/1 bis for a TL 7 Model/2 or TL 8 Model/2bis decreases the cargo capacity to 22 tons, a TL 9 Model/3 drops the cargo capacity to 21 tons, and installation of a TL 10 Model/4 leaves a cargo capacity of 20 tons. Removing a combination of up to three staterooms, the air/raft, and/or the fire control system will regain cargo capacity.
The above is my best effort at calculating the scout/courier using the available information. A side note is that I think that the crew calculations for the hulls with stewards are based on the text from CT LBB 2 1977. For example the Free Trader (Type A) reserves six of the ten staterooms for high and middle passengers. Based on the probability that at least one high passage will be carried one steward is required.
