Update 1

I think I've completed looking at the hulls without drop tanks that which are capable of making jumps > 1 parsec at TL 9-10, > 2 parsecs at TL 11, > 3 at TL 12, > 4 parsecs at TL 13, and > 5 parsecs at TL 14.

If I've set up the parameters correctly my test of drop tanks on the Subsidized Liner indicates that the hull can make J6 by carrying 180 tons of fuel allows one 3 parsec jump internally and carrying the remaining 180 tons in drop tanks once they are jettisoned and with them retained the liner can make one 4 parsec jump.

I'm thinking about submitting my findings to Jeff Zeitlin for Freelance Traveller, however I would like to ask at least one person to look over a draft of the material without the drop tanks before I send it out. If anyone is interested please contact me via email.
