I'm getting close finishing the MT Referee's Manual Craft Design for hull >= 100-dtons and creating the UCP.  I have combined the Space-Faring Craft Type Codes Table from CT LBB 5 HG2 page 26, MT Referee's Manual  page 84, and added ship type codes found in CT LBB 2 Starships.I know the ship type codes as hull classification symbols.

The best I can do for the Guardian Orbital Battle Station ship type code on the combined tables is S = Station as the primary and B as the qualifier.

I have gone through my CT and MT books compiling a list of ship type codes to see if there was a code for orbital. In addition to a couple of codes I knew were not on the list I found several more.

The Far Trader's type code is A2 the A per both CT and MT is for Merchant, unfortunately there is no 2 entry on the qualifier table.

Then there are two type codes for system defense boats. The first system defense boat code is from CT Supplement 7 and is SB. This is another code that, in this case, having a slight problem the Primary code of S is used for Scout or Station. The second type code is SDB which has three codes the S which is not designated as being for System and then the D which is for Defense. The existing tables are geared for two not three codes.

My combined table will address these items by adding the digits 1 through 9 to the qualifies table allowing them to be used.

For a system defense boat, I'm planning to expand the primary columns to include the entry System Defense Boat = SDB.

There is no code for orbital which prompted me to go through my CT and MT material compiling a list with most of the type codes I found. There is one JTAS article with the list of ships that won a TCS tournament which has me stumped even when I used CT LBB 5 HG2 and MT Referee's Guide. Without being able to figure out the hull types I left them off the list.

I mentioned that there are ship type codes I did not include in my compiled because I could figure them out with just the CT ship specifications. In MT 0218 Fighting Ships there are three ship type codes in the Battleship section that I'm not sure of. They are  BH-14 and BH-15 pages 26-27 which are for Battle Heavy. Then there is the TB-15 Tanker Battle, and BZ-15 Battle Experimental. The BH-14, BH-15, and TB by the 30,000 ton displacement could Battle Riders The 500,000 d-ton BZ is probably a Battleship.

If anyone has a chance and MT Fighting Ships could you please take a look for BH, TB, and BZ and let me know if I've gotten them right. Also, please let me know about my suggested changes to the Type code Tables.
