Twilight's Peak is partly the basis for the campaign. Hopefully I can be more subtle in introducing it than we were when we first ran it all those years ago.

My experience from CT is that it's not really that hard to make a profit esp if there're no payments left to make.
'Annual Maint' should detect most of the pending problems.

Also, take a look at 'Twilight's Peak' CT Adv3 for a discussion & example of an old somewhat worn-out F'trader.

Is there a official or good fan source on:

The average age of ships in service?

Average reliability of older ships?

I want to give my group a older (paid off, in a small merchant fleet, reliable but not perfect) Free Trader. Just trying to get a sense of what the "depreciated cost" of an older ship would be plus what possibly might break as they start travelling the Spinward Main.

Even working on a "business plan" that will give them a main emphasis of trading, but allow for side journeys of self-directed adventure (mayhem) or acting as a safari ship, etc.

Thanks!
