Good morning,
Here are the responses to my original query on DeepDyve. My original posting is at the end. My thanks to those who responded:
Though I've never used their paid subscription service, I did try out their free trial. I researched a bit before I did so and it seems like a legitimate website. If absolutely can't get access to an article a patron is requesting and it's available on DeepDyve, I will point them to it and suggest the free trial.
Our Pharmacovigilance Group uses this service in their literature monitoring process. It allows them to rent the articles to review to determine its relevance before purchasing it. It's a great cost saving tool - The first year we used it we saved $14,000.
Recently received a solicitation from Internet Archive about resource sharing from their collection via RapidILL. Interesting that these entities are modeling libraries. I just awaiting their adaption of a fee structure for service.
I believe there is an added fee to download/print. That's problematic. I would be very interested to know if anyone one the lists is using this service. I could see an individual researcher without institutional access to literature using this service. Just my initial thoughts. I got that information from a six year-old thread online: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://academia.stackexchange.com/questions/43323/experience-with-deepdyve-group-plan__;!!ImrjaIx7aFlmhR9N8wyi6OhRV68o!FTf_HCKBBvf_Ju5WBIcsAZAcLHDYFFm4hU1DMC-fh7EXCMuoBOsj3rOEvPZQKp5UW4Q$
DeepDyve's model and pricing may have changed:

On the Pro Plan you can print up to 20 pages per month.

Good morning,
This has been posted to multiple lists. Sorry for any duplication.
I received two emails from this company recently:
What if you could gain access to the lowest-cost comprehensive database for scientific literature?
DeepDyve's Digital Library enables unlimited access to 25M+ articles, as well as:
* Integration with PubMed & Google Scholar for 2-click article access
* Shareable articles w/ annotations for teams to organize & collaborate
* Purchase 100M+ articles and/or upload existing PDFs into the cloud
Would you be interested in receiving an e-brochure to learn more about our Digital Library and how we are working with healthcare organizations like yours?

Kind regards,

I checked their website, but before I decide whether to go further in my investigation, does anyone have first-hand knowledge of them? If anyone is interested, I will summarize the responses.
