TECHNICAL SERVICES LIBRARIAN

Drexel University�s Hagerty Library has an immediate opening for an
experienced professional to join our highly motivated team as we
continue to migrate our operations, systems and collections to suit the
needs of twenty first century library users.  We are seeking an
individual with serials experience, who will catalog materials in all
formats (including electronic resources) and supervise all serials
operations including the maintenance of Hagerty�s growing electronic
journal collection of over 5,000 titles.  Enthusiasm, creativity and
motivation to seek new solutions are absolutely essential requirements
for this position.

Required:  Master's degree in Library Science; two years experience with
serials; including a thorough knowledge of AACR2R, LCRIs, LCSH, LC
classification, and MARC formats, working knowledge of OCLC, supervisory
experience, and computer skills (particularly experience with databases,
spreadsheet files and HTML).  Experience with acquiring serials and
electronic information resources highly desirable.  Experience using the
Innovative Library System preferred.  Interested applicants should mail,
