More information about the two publications called West Africa:

1.  West Africa (West Africa Publishing Co., Ltd.: 1917-1999).

The publisher has advised that the January and February 1999 issues have
been published and that they should be sent to subscribers soon.

2.  West Africa (Afrimedia International, Ltd.: October 1999- ).

The publisher has advised that the first issue, scheduled for October 1999,
has not yet been published.  It is now expected around November 15, and all
paid subscriptions will have their expiration dates extended.
