The Editor invites prospective authors to submit original manuscripts
for
possible publication in this international journal.

Editorial aims
To help maximize the benefits of OCLC systems and services by drawing
from
the knowledge of experienced users
To show how OCLC systems and services have been utilized by libraries
and
other information organizations
To present the current progress and impact of information technology

Scope
OCLC product and service:
*       compatibility
*       availability
*       applications
*       cost-effectiveness
*       user education/training

Information technology theory and practice
*       OCLC research and projects
*       information processing
*       information management
*       information service
*       Archives and archival method (Preservation)
*       digitizing
*       image processing
*       digital library

Papers are welcome on the following topics: Knowledge management
(Cataloging); Indexing; Interlibrary loan and document delivery;
Resource
sharing; Preservation and archiving; Outsourcing; System management;
Automation; Collection development; Customer service; Virtual services
(e.g., virtual reference desk); Web-based systems and resources;
Information
search and retrieval; Telecommunications; Computer software and
hardware;
Standards

Preparation of manuscripts
Articles should be between 1,000 and 3,000 words in length.  Graphics,
images and other illustrative material can be included.   Two copies of
each
submission should be sent to the Editor together with an electronic copy
in
Word  format, a brief autobiographical note, 1-6 keywords, an abstract
of
approximately 150 words and a suggested title.  References should be in
the
Harvard style.

Refereeing procedure
Papers are normally reviewed by  two or more members of the journal's
review
board.

Copyright
Authors submitting their articles for publication warrant that that the
work
is not an infringement of any existing copyright and will indemnify the
publisher against any breach of such warranty.

Manuscripts or outlines of proposed articles should be submitted to the
