Re: 21st Century Afro Review Joseph Sollitto 23 Sep 1999 17:44 UTC

Hello:

Here is an update to yesterday's message concerning 21st Century Afro review.

We have located the editor, Nikongo Ba'Nikongo, at Howard University, and
he has confirmed the following:

v.3:no.2 and v.3:no.3 were never published.
The next issue will be v.4:no.1/3 January 2000 which will appear in late
December or early January.

Mr. Ba'Nikongo may be reached at the following address:

                Dept. of Afro-American Studies
                Howard University
                24000 6th Street NW
                Washington, DC 20059

                telephone: 301-891-2455
                fax: 301-270-3134

Ms. Cravens:

Our records indicate that the latest issue of this delayed journal is
indeed v.3:no.1, Fall 1997 which was apparently sent to subscribers in July
1999. From this it would seem that this is still active, but slow in
publication.

We have been the name of the person who is supposed to be the editor of
this publication, however, we have been unable to reach him. We shall
continue to try and will report any information which we can uncover.

I hope this helps,
