All types of maps are available in the Map & Imagery Library on a variety of special topics from archaeology to zoogeography. The map collections are worldwide in scope but the areas of emphasis are Florida, U.S., Central and South America including the Caribbean, and Africa, South of the Sahara. This collection supports instructional and research programs from across the entire spectrum of the University of Florida's academic departments. The more frequent users are associated with the Colleges and Departments of: Engineering, Architecture, Political Science, Geography, Geology, IFAS, and the Centers for African and Latin American Studies.
