_ Technical Reports Website Registry _

I am interested in knowing of any existing or planned *central * registry
of professional _society_ Technical Reports Web sites.
[I am aware of NTIS, DTIC, NCSTRL and CoRR for computer science,
the NASA and associated sites, and listings from a Yahoo / GoTo /
Lycos / Snap / Google / Excite searches for 'Technical Reports']

An example of a professional society technical
reports Web site is that of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers
(SME) found at the following address

http://www.sme.org/cgi-bin/storefront/search/T///SME/

If such a registry does *not* exist, I am prepared to compile one
over the course of our Fall semester as part of my formal duties as
an engineering specialist here at Iowa State. [For such a project I'd begin
by systematically reviewing the Web sites listed in the
_Scholarly Societies Project_ compendium at

http://www.lib.uwaterloo.ca/society/overview.html .

[Of course, I'd need a catchy title for such a _S_ociety _T_echnical
_R_eports _W_ebsite registry. Any suggestions? How about STRAW {:-)]

As Always, Any and All contributions, comments, critiques,
queries, etc. etc. are Welcome!
