Subject: Help : Lyon (France)
Dear friends,
Most of the documents in the University Library in Lyon (France)
disappeared in a fire some weeks ago.
Now, the library staff is trying to collect duplicates to replace them.
You will find information about this restoration process on
the web page they have opened.
http://phebus.univ-lyon2.fr/Bibliotheque
As you may see, several American academic publishers and libraries
are already engaged in the project.
The requested domains are :
History and legal history
French language and litterature
Classical studies
Foreign languages and litteratures (i.e. English, American-English
German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic)
Arts and archeology
Philosophy
Economy
Every type of document (periodicals, books, theses...) and every support
(paper, microforms, CDRoms...) is accepted.
Please do not send anything for the moment. Send your PROPOSALS
only and wait for instructions.
The fax number of the reconstitution team is : +33 4 72 72 45 55
and the contact person is Marie-Jo Malagola : Marie-Jo.Malagola@univ-lyon2.fr
