CONSER Single Record Policy - In 1996 CONSER developed an experimental
policy for inclusion of online versions on the records for the print.
During the past few months a Working Group within CONSER was asked to
draft a policy that would suggest guidelines for determining when it
is appropriate to use the single record approach. The paper was
discussed at the April meeting of the CONSER Operations Committee but
no conclusions were reached.

Discussion Topic: Where Do We Go from Here? : The Single vs. Separate
Record Approach for E-Serials - Valerie Bross, Head, Serials
Cataloging Section, UCLA. Valerie will speak on these approaches.

V. Jean Hirons will present an updated report on discussions at the
CONSER At Large meeting at ALA.

Please take a look at the above two documentations on its respective
web site and then come share your own views on these topics! We look
forward to seeing you in New Orleans.
