The ALA 1999 Annual Meeting is fast approaching, and the Faxon Company is
once again providing a variety of online conference information on our
website as a service to the library and information community.  Check us

We have compiled lists of selected meetings on 1) The Internet/Library
technology/Automation, and 2) Serials/Acquisitions/Collection development.
There are also general meeting spreadsheets sorted by day/time, ALA group,
topic and location. (Discussion topics and locations are added as they
become available.) You will also find a list of conference hotels with
addresses and phone numbers, a map of the conference area with hotel
locations, and a delicious list of area restaurants and links to other New
Orleans restaurant sites.  As a new service this year, we are highlighting
those meetings that may be of special interest to publisher
representatives.

Of course, all of this information will be updated continually and we'd
