Head of Binding, Santa Clara University

Library Specialist IV

Manages the binding of periodicals, reference materials and circulating items. Determines binding workflow and documents binding proceudres. Supervises and trains studnet assistnats inbinding process and procedures. Works with other staff on a periodicals retrospective conversion project.

An AA degree or equivalent and a minimum 3 years library experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. A minimum of 1-2 years ex[erience with binding periodicals, binding workflow and with automated library system, preferably Innovative Interfaces. Minimum 1 year experience supervising studnet assistants or staff. Familiarity with online serials bibliographic records and serials checkin records required.
