Yvonne,
Better late than never? I have done my best to correct the records, and
I'd like to make an attempt to explain my understanding of what happened
here. If you look at the OCLC record for Essays in Colorado history
(#18709099), you'll see: a series statement for the series, "Essays and
monographs in Colorado history"; you'll also see two added distinctive
title entries--those are the "monographs" of the "series". (But really
they are numbers of the serial title on which they lie). Essays in
Colorado history then ceased in 1994, and when it was re-established in
1997 as Colorado history (Denver, Col.) (#35951766), the editors stated on
the t.p.: "Formerly The Colorado magazine and Essays and monographs in
Colorado history"----NOT! Rather, formerly Essays in Colorado history--
published likewise, in periodical format, and occassionally in monographic
format having distinctive titles (my best guess, based on the evidence).
No longer having a series statement.
The Colorado magazine (#1564190), had long since ceased! (1980) and been
continued by Colorado heritage (#6966345).
There is a problem with the serial record for the series (Essays and
monographs in Colorado history). As it appears to be based on an
unnumbered series, I'm reporting it for deletion.
I repeat that I've done my best to figure this thing out. If I've erred,
I'd like to call to mind--To err is human, to forgive, divine!
Thanks,
Beth Guay
