     Last week we received the letter mentioned in Diana's message. It
     includes a worldwide survey asking what direction the readers would
     like Business America to go. Print? Print and internet? Online only?
     Plus what topics do readers want covered? The letter comes from USGPO.
     If you have someone separate sorting your mail, I can see how it could
     be tossed as *more advertising*.

In response to the request for the current status of Business America, ISSN
0190-6275, information received from the Superintendent of Documents
indicates that this publication has ceased.

The last issue published was v.119:no.1 September 1998.

 Hello,
   I received a survey recently from the United States Government Printing
Office (Superintendent of Documents) about the print publication (Business
America) asking if there should be an additional Internet version of the
magazine.  The editorial staff at the International Trade Administration at
the Department of Commerce is "reevaluating the magazine", and conducting
this worldwide survey of Business America subscribers.

  There was no indication in the letter or survey about how long they will be
conducting this reevaluation, or when they plan to begin printing the
magazine again.
