The following information may help to clarify some of the questions
about _ALCTS Newsletter_.

(1) _ALCTS Newsletter_ v.9,no.2-3 is a combined double issue; ours
was received on 06/04/98.
(2) We received a very detailed letter dated 10/05/98 from ALCTS
describing the cessation of _ALCTS Newsletter_ in print format
effective with v.9, no.4-6.  The letter indicates that v.10,no.1 is
expected to be posted on the web on 12/10/98; the url
is:     http://www.ala.org/alcts/newsletter/
(3) The address that Nan Canington provides actually is not for the
electronic version of _ALCTS Newsletter_ , but instead relates to a
subscription command to subscribe to the electronic title _ALCTS
Network News_ (AN2).  The command: subscribe an2 [your
name] should be the text of an e-mail message to
listproc@ala.org  Apparently, whenever a new _ALCTS Newsletter_ is
posted, a notice will run in _AN2_.
