Subject: OPAC labels for web/lan resources
We are considering making some changes in our OPAC displays for e-journals
and other resources located on the WWW or on a local lan. I would like to
hear what other libraries are using for the following:
1. What label do you use for the 856 field?
2. What do you use as a "location"?
3. Do you use anything in the place of a call number (such as a text
string)? If so, what?
Please respond directly to me (ruth-christ@uiowa.edu) and I will summarize
for the list if there is interest.
Thanks,
Ruth
