Subject: Funding print&online versions of a title

How are any of you dividing (or not) funds when a department wants the
print & Web version of a title in institutions where you track electronic
sources in a separate budget from print resources. Example, ACS publications
offered at 25% more for Web version if print retained. Chemistry pays for
print; electronic resources budget pays the 25% more? or do you continue on
with Chemistry paying for both versions.
Seems like statistics call for counts by titles & dollars too so trying to
keep all this straight will be interesting, increasingly so. Any advice is
very much appreciated. Thanks.
