Call for Papers -- "ILL/DD: Studies in Interlibrary Loan, Document
Delivery, Access Services, and Resource Sharing" (volume two, fall 1999)

"ILL/DD: Studies in Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery, Access Services
and Resource Sharing"  is a new publication that uniquely covers this
evolving area of librarianship. An annual review with an international
scope, ILL/DD features articles that summarize, synthesize, and offer
perspective on the field in ways that are beyond the scope of other
publications. Substantive essays, articles, and reviews examine all of the
major issues and developments in greater depth than can be found
elsewhere. The goal is to provide a needed "big picture" context that will
enable librarians to keep up with the present and plan for the future.
Volume one is in press and will be available in fall, 1998.  Contributions
for volume two are being solicited on the following topics:

* Economics and Budgeting for ILL/DD Services
* Innovations in Networking and Consortial Activities
* Analyses of Developing Codes, Standards and Protocol
* National and International Resource Sharing
* Issues in Copyright and Licensing Agreements
* ILL Management and Statistical Software

* Organization and Evaluation of ILL Departments
* Patron-centered ILL/DD Services and User Satisfaction
* ILL/DD Sites on the World Wide Web
* Technological Innovations in Document Delivery
* Education and Training of ILL Librarians and Staff
* Wrap-up of the ILL/DD Conference Circuit
* Reviews of Books, Software, and Systems
