The Swilley Library serves approximately 2,000 total professional school
enrollment with about 200 total faculty and quite a few adjuncts. These
graduate programs are theology (MDiv), pharmacy (PharmD and PhD),
education (MEd and specialist), and several business degrees including
the standard MBA. Our ill dept offers unlimited items at 1.00 per
item...personal pay or charge back to department, and will use
commercial dd or ill depending on which is the most efficient. Given our
consortia arrangements which include and truck delivery, commercial dd
is usually not needed.

We have about 5,000 budget for ill, whih includes oclc charges and
charges when we have to pay...which is not that often. The 1.00 is
primarily to cut down on items borrowed, but not picked up.

Ironically one of our own Mercer libraries charges us the most....and
then does not borrow from us.

I hope this is of some help.

It is interesting how reluctant people are to pay for dd directly, when
it means getting something immediately.
