Subject: e-journal management

Dear colleagues,

I realize that there has been a lot of discussion on this topic but I'd
like to pose a few questions from a slightly different angle:

1. Have any of you made a decision *not* to catalog e-journals while
providing access to them in an alternate way, such as web pages separate
from the online catalog?

2. If so, what were your reasons? Do you think this approach is working?

3. Who maintains the web page(s)?

4. Do the journals added to these pages undergo the same selection process
as those in physical formats?

Thanks in advance, I'll be curious to see if I get any replies, since most
libraries have probably made the decision to catalogue.
