Subject: Apology to AASL

   I am sorry that my note regarding School Library Media Quarterly Online and
Knowledge Quest sounded sarcastic. I did not intend that. I hoped for some
humor (as in comic relief), but tried to point out some positives.
   SLMQ online is a great online journal, and I hope that it remains free to
institutional members. We need it.
   KQ is also a quality journal. There are always hitches in beginning
something new. Thanks for providing some needed information.
   It was pointed out to me that AASL was very "up front" in the changes to
these new publications. I, for one, was not well informed. And, isn't that
what this list is all about? --exchanging information on a collegial basis? I
try to stay informed, I honestly do. Don't we all?
   Anyway, to quote Beans (from the comic strip "Tumbleweeds"): "It's them
mental challenges what keep us on our toes!"
   Thanks for the many times that SERIALST has helped me out.
