Hello,

Here at MCCC we only sensor our bound periodical volumes.  Sometimes
the individual issues of titles that do not get bound are also
sensored.  We use the 3M checkpoint system and the 10mz radio tags
inside the front cover of the book.

We are interested in finding out what other colleges in the Delaware
Valley area do about sensoring their magazine and journal collections.
 Do you sensor each individual issue? None at all?  Only bound?  What
type or brand of sensor do you use?  Is there a staff member at the
exit to look in bookbags "just in case" the system doesn't work?  Do
you experience a high theft rate?
