We are a health sciences library. We have a number of foreign students in Graduate School particularly from China. We have always put these papers on the browsing shelves and only keep the most recent.

The Chinese Student Assn was upset recently when the papers stopped coming. They had been coming free. A subscription was very expensive. We explained that we did not have the funds to buy the newspapers for all the foreign students on campus. The President of the group contacted their Embassy and we are receiving them again for free.

The China Daily News is also available on the INTERNET and many read it there.
