  New England Technical Services Librarians (NETSL) Spring Conference,
  Friday, April 17, 1998, at the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA.

Registration flyers for the April 17, 1998, Spring Conference have been
mailed to NETSL members.

As previously announced, the Conference will take place at the College of
the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA.  The theme of this year is: Technical
Services in a Changing Environment: Opportunities for Innovation.  The
Conference will explore the challenges and opportunities provided by
organizational changes in technical services.

 Herbert S. White, Distinguished Professor and Dean Emeritus, Indiana
 University, SLIS, will speak in the morning.  Breakout sessions will follow.
 The afternoon will include a presentation by Christina Bellinger,
 University of New Hampshire, on Conflict Management; and by Mary
 Elizabeth Clack, Harvard University, on the Learning Organization.

 Registration is $40 for NELA/NETSL members, $50 for nonmembers and
 $20 for full-time library school students.
