HI everyone,

I would like to thank everyone out there who responded to me about
withdrawing journals from our library.  We had many responses.  Just to
summarize for you all:

1.  Many suggested the BackServ list.  This is a wonderful idea.  (they can
be reached at BACKSERV@sun.readmore.com)
2.  Many suggested Colorado State University flood relief effort  (they can
be reached at                 www.coalliance.org/csuflood/csuflood.shtml)
3.  Suggestions came in for contacting local universities and libraries in
the area.
4.  Many suggested letting staff of the company have the old volumes or
have a book sale.
5.  Some suggested to sell them to vendors who deal in the area of
buying/selling old bound volumes.
6.  Some also suggested how to go about recycling the bound journals if we
wished to follow that plan.
7.  Some people even sent messages asking if we had specific volumes of
specific titles.

We have not yet decided which option we will go with.  Infact we are just
beginning to put together a list of possible titltes to weed.  Thank you
though for all of the suggestions.  We certainly will not have any problems
now that you have all helped us.
