Usually a commercial binder can handle this size differential easily,
binding all 4 issues of the volume together, either with or without
blank portions of sheets to pad the 5 cm. difference in height.

When I have a size differential for bound materials I have them bound
together, instructing the bindery to use filler paper or filler stub to
equalize the sizes of the issues. That way I keep complete volumes (when
possible) and minimize the cost of binding.
