Forgive me if this has been discussed before.

We are in the process of writing new procedures for evaluating journals
that faculty request be added to the collection, and in general revising
our journal collection development policies.  We would appreciate any
advice, policies and procedures, recommended books, articles, Web sites,
etc. that anyone wants to share.
