SERIALST to be suspended for Thanksgiving holiday
Birdie MacLennan 25 Nov 1997 18:26 UTC
Hello.
Just a brief note to announce that SERIALST mail will be suspended as of
tomorrow at noon (Eastern Standard Time in the United States). We will
resume posting mail again next Monday. The NOMAIL dates are thus:
Wednesday, Nov. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 30. We will resume SERIALST
mail delivery, as per usual, on Monday, December 1.
The SERIALST moderators -- and you, the lucky subscribers -- will all be
treated to a few days of quiet -- a respite, if you will -- from at least
one source of e-mail. The reason: We celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday
(Thurs., Nov. 27) in the United States, and from there, take the rest of
the week away from the office, and from e-mail.
This being said, if you would like to post something to SERIALST this
week, please try to submit it no later than Wednes, noon, EST. Otherwise,
it will have to wait until next week.
Best wishes to all
