Subject: Bowker/Ulrich's Award Nominations

     Nominations are being sought for the Bowker/Ulrich's Serials
     Librarianship Award for 1998.  The Bowker/Ulrich's Serials
     Librarianship Award is sponsored by the Serials Section of the
     Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS),
     American Library Association (ALA).

     The Award is presented for demostrated leadership in serials-related
     activities through participation in professional associations and/or
     library education programs, contributions to the body of serials
     literature, research in the area of serials, or development of tools
     or methods to enhance access to or management of serials.  The Award
     consists of a cash award of $1,500, donated by Bowker/Ulrich's, and a
     citation.

     If you would like to nominate someone for this Award, please send your
     letters of nomination and/or support to:
