Regarding Scanning Microscopy, I'd like to say a big thank you to
everyone who replied to my query both on the list and off--if nothing
else it helps to know that Vanderbilt Library is far from being the only
institution with this problem.

By far, the most useful piece of information was the name of a person
at Scanning Microscopy International, as well as a fax number and
e-mail address. The phone number listed here is the one that's been
disconnected, but the fax number does still work.

Several people were also informed by their vendors that volume 10
would be published in July and volume 11 in September, but that they
have yet to receive either volume. I've faxed and e-mailed Mr.
Johari, but, as with everything else involving this piece, it all
seemed to go down a black hole. Maybe if we all bombard his e-mail
and fax, one of us will get an answer.
