In response to the mailing below, I hope the following information
might be useful:
We have used Microsoft Access for a number of analytical projects,
including a periodicals voting exercise and stocktaking. I would
recommend Access over Excel due to the ability of the former to
construct SQL queries to obtain data quite simply.
