vol./year mistakes & bound vols. Andrew Leonhart 29 Oct 1997 22:20 UTC

Greetings,

Two years ago "Home Life" was on volume 50. Last year the first issue was
volume 51 #1, and all the rest were mislabelled volume 50. This year they
have started with volume 51 again. I suppose they may catch their mistake
and switch to volume 52 with any issue.

My question is how do I reflect this on the spine when I have them bound?

In a similar vein many journals run behind schedule. "Peabody Journal of
Education" 'solved' this problem by stating "v. 57 #4 1990 (for 1992)", and
then skipping ALL of 1991 and starting again with "v. 58 #1 1992".

How do I reflect this on the spine if I have them bound?

Comments appreciated. Thank you.

Andrew :)
