I have to agree with Pamela Simpson regarding "checking in" ejournals
(those ejournals whose files do not physically reside at our individual
libraries). In my mind, the important question now becomes "Is the link
still working, or has it changed?" and not which specific issue has become
available. If you did want to keep track of such a thing, I can't think of
any easy way to do it -- unless publishers want to email all subscribers
when they upload new issues. Sounds like a lot of work, and I don't think
it's necessary.
