I've tried to post this message several times since the topic came up, but
keep getting error messages. I thought I should keep trying, since our
subscription is currently up to date. We have received two more issues since
the original message was posted, and our latest issue is now no.4166
(Sep.15) rec'd this morning:

I could write a book about problems with this title/publisher! We received
this regularly every week until a few years ago when we suddenly began
getting 5 or 6 issues together, although each was in a seperate mailing
envelope. We frequently missed clumps of issues as well. Our vendor has
found someone at the publisher who can eventually fix the problems, but
repeated letters and faxes explaining why we are unhappy, and asking if
there is an "airmail" option have gone unanswered. Professors here have
often had to alter assignments, and would probably cancel this title if
there was another with the same scope. We are currently on track - our
latest issue is no.4164 (1997:Aug 25), which was received Sept.3. If you
persevere you will eventually get what you paid for, but I'd let your
selector know that this is not one that can be depended on, and will require
a lot of attention to keep it coming.
