I don't know the answer to your question, but I did notice one interesting
thing - the "Summer" issue says published monthly except June, July and
December. Volume 18 #1 for August says published monthly except July and
December. Perhaps they called the June issue summer because they were so
late in publishing it. We got ours in early July...I am tempted to call
the "summer" issue #9.

We received v.18:no.1 (August 1997) on 8/28/97. We are guesing that the
summer issue should be considered v.17:no.9.

Colleagues,
Am I missing something? We received Technology & learning (1053-6728)
v.17,n.8 (May/Jun 1997) on 21 May 1997. The next issue we received,
called the "Special Back to School Issue," is clearly numbered v.18,n.1
(August 1997). A note inside explains the "addition" of this "special
end-of-summer issue" (p.4). Was there an issue in between labeled
"Summer"? If so, I'd like to know, so that I may claim it. If not,
perhaps this will clear up some of the confusion.

Hi Debbie - We have a subscription to Technology & Learning. We
checked the Summer 1997 issue in as a special issue without a
number. We will adjust our records if the next issue proves it to
be something other than that. We didn't feel we could give it a
number if it didn't have one printed in it unless the next issue
has an explanation. Will be glad to hear how others have handled
this.
