Non-continuous orders Barbara Rauch 14 Aug 1997 15:57 UTC

Dear Serialisters

Can anyone tell me the meaning of the phrase "non-continuous order"?

Our library integrated system is URiCA-2000 version 5.1b (Sanderson). The
system will not let me close a serial order because it is
"non-continuous". Nowhere in the manual (to which I refer constantly) or
in help screens does it define this term.

Before I embarrass myself before the programming gurus can anyone suggest a
meaning? Perhaps your system uses the same term. I am totally stumped by
this phrase.
