Subject: Title page for serials
Thanks to all that helped with my question last week regarding
MIT's Technology Review. AACR2 stipulates that the prescibed
source of information regarding a title of a serial is the title page.
What defines the title page of a serial? Is it the front cover? Is it
the table of contents page? Is it the page that contains the small
box with subscription information and the title accompanied with
the ISSN number? (I would also like to know the official name of
this section with the ISSN number.) MIT's Technology Review
still refers to itself as Technology Review in this small section
with the subscription information and ISSN number. Once again
thanks in advance to all that offer their help as I try to learn this
complicated serials business. (Do you think I should ask for a
raise yet?)
