At the public library where I work part-time, we use the EBSCO product.
In fact, we just expanded our service to get more journals full-text. The
interface is a little intimidating to the older patrons, but they adjust
in a hurry when their searches produce results. It's very popular now with
just about everybody, due in part to the instant gratification aspect, and
in part to its genuinely deep coverage in most areas.
We have a number of small colleges in the area, and their students like
it because they can send the results via e-mail to their accounts
on campus.
