SERIALST Slows Down for NASIG Birdie MacLennan 26 May 1997 18:16 UTC

Dear SERIALST Subscribers,

The NASIG (North American Serials Interest Group) Annual Conference is
almost here and, once again, all of SERIALST's moderators will be vacating
their offices to attend the conference at the lovely University of
Michigan campus in Ann Arbor.

This means that mail to SERIALST will be suspended for much of the week --
that is, from Tuesday, May 27 (@Noon, EDT) through Friday, May 30. We may
post occasionally -- as time and resources allow --from the e-mail
facilities at U.Michigan -- but don't count on it. It will probably be
hard to find a moment when we are not at a program offering, meeting,
and/or co-mingling with our colleagues in non-virtual reality at the NASIG
'serials spa'.

So if mail from SERIALST seems slow, irregular, and maybe even
non-existent some days during this week, don't worry. Enjoy the peace and
quiet! SERIALST will be back on its regular schedule next Monday, June 2.

Hope to see lots of you at NASIG this week!

ciao,

        Birdie MacLennan
