There have been some questions on our campus regarding the validity of the
MLS being accepted as a terminal degree, in light of the fact that the Ph.D.
is offered.  At Faulkner, this has a direct connection to salary scale and
tenure.

Would you please respond by telling me how your institutions view the MLS
and any additional information you may have which will help address this
concern?
