Circulating periodical issues to faculty Kathi L. Jakubowski 25 Apr 1997 16:03 UTC

Do any libraries have a policy regarding circulating current
periodical issues to faculty prior to sending them to Current
Periodicals? The issues of certain titles would be checked in
and then sent to the Departments for a limited time, then returned
and sent to the Current Periodicals Room. This is a faculty request,
and we are trying to research how other libraries have addressed this
issue. We need to report to the Library Committee next week, so
quick responses would be appreciated. Positive as well as negative
aspects are welcome.

Please respond directly to me, and I will summarize for the list, if
there is interest.

Thank you.
