We depend on the BACKMED exchange to fill in missing issues.
We haven't had any money to spend with back issue dealers in
years. We did send some issues for credit but I haven't been
able to use the credit because the dealer hasn't had what I
needed.
It is cheaper to get it from a Back Issue dealer directly than
through your regular jobber. I found out checked on ordering
a replacement for us from a back issue dealer who was "having
a sale" and then added on to the regular price to get the
amount we were to pay. I can't remember what I did about it.
It was a learning experience I hadn't had before.
