For titles we do not bind, we store them on the shelves in what we call pam
boxes.  These are cardboard and we have painted the front in different
colors to set off where titles change.  They are labeled with title and
contents.  Our collection is cataloged and shelved in LC call# order.  Our
budget doesn't allow for binding everything.
