Ingrid--

For the titles that we get microfilm for, we try hard not to throw them
out.  Some are requested by professors and we route them accordingly.
Most of them, we put out on an exchange list.  And only then do we
recycle them.

For our more popular titles where we keep the paper issues for three
years along with the microfilm.  We temporarily bind them, using a
Therm-A-Bind machine.
