I spoke with Ms. Pat Rowe, Acting editior of Children today, on
  Friday, March 21.  Ms. Rowe indiated that Vol. 24, no. 1 is the latest
  issue published to date.  She anticipates that there will be a Vol.
  24, no. 2 published sometime during spring/summer 1997.  It will be a
  thematic issue on child support enforcement.  After Vol. 24, no. 2,
  Ms. Rowe states that "it is very very seriously doubtful whether
  publiation will continue."  Lack of funding is the main reason.  There
  are no prospects at this time that a commercial publisher will take
  over publication of the periodical.  There are no plans to make the
  publication available on the World Wode Web.
