USMARC for Serials workshop in Albuquerque

AMIGOS Bibliographic Council is sponsoring a USMARC for Serials workshop
on April 24 in Albuquerque, NM. Deadline for early registration is
April 2. Register now to take advantage of the "early bird"
registration fee!
This full day workshop will cover the following topics: AACR2 Chapter 12
and LC Rule Interpretations, tagging and coding of serials for original
and copy cataloging, tagging and coding of specific visual material
serials and computer file serials, and application of the 006 field.
Instructor: Beverly Geer-Butler, Head Cataloger, Trinity University, is
the current President of the North American Serials Interest Group;
member-at-large for the Serials Section of the Association for Library
Collections and Technical Services, American Library Association; and
co-editor of the Serials Report column published in Serials Librarian.
